I provide sessions in-person, at your home, for those living in Enfield. This means you get to be involved in your child's therapy and the goals we are working on. Being able to watch the sessions allows you to learn techniques to practice during the week, making progress more likely. For those outside of Enfield, I offer video-call consultations. Click below to find out more.

Sessions may also take place in school/nursery, allowing you to have more flexibility with timings of sessions. Please ensure either you or a member of staff is available to attend school sessions in order to observe the sessions and carry out homework during the week.

Being a private therapist means I have the resources to see your child regularly and for as long as they need. You get to skip long waiting lists (or in times of high demand, have a comparatively reduced wait) and have access to early intervention. Early Intervention has been proven to be the most effective.

Speech and language skills involve a wide range of abilities. As well as talking, we can work on attention, listening, understanding, play, speech clarity and social skills. These skills all work together to form "communication".
We respect differences and honour a total communication approach. That is allowing and introducing a child to use pictures, signing or AAC devices (communication book or iPad) to communicate.

As a child gets older, the communication skills they need become more advanced. Children in secondary school can often fall behind when SLT support stops at primary age. I am able to work with children of all ages; to ensure they continue to be supported for as long as they need.

We respect and value neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, etc.) rather than attempting to “fix” it. We focus on authentic connection, safety and self-advocacy over forcing compliance to neurotypical norms. Therapy sessions are tailored to the child's interests and sensory needs.
